Design Victory: BAUCON Wins Red Dot Award for Austrian Power Giants

The visionary infrastructure concept by Austrian Power Giants , co-developed with BAUCON Int. as a project partner, has been honored in Singapore with the prestigious Red Dot Award 2025: Concept Design.
The international jury recognized the innovative design in the fields of electrification and decarbonization.As part of the project, a forward-looking pylon design was created, serving as a landmark for the client.
Through close collaboration between APG, the designers, and BAUCON, a concept was realized that is both technically and aesthetically compelling. BAUCON’s role was to develop design solutions while ensuring structural feasibility.
The award is a great honor for BAUCON and also an incentive to continue contributing to innovative, future-oriented solutions within interdisciplinary teams. The award-winning 3D models will be on display at the Red Dot Museum in Singapore until October 2026.

Hydro Exhibiton in Graz 2024

From 18-20 November 2024, the HYDRO 2024 trade exhibition showcased the latest and most
innovative companies in the global hydropower and dam industry.
BauCon INT. was represented as an exhibitor at the trade fair for the first time this year.

On Sunday 29.10.2024 the first accordion orchestra was played in the mountain station. Baucon was not only the general planner of this new cable car but is also the sponsor of this orchestra. The Bayrische Zugspitzbahnen also sponsored this concert with free tickets.

ATCOLD - Dams Symposium

The ATCOLD Dams Symposium was held in Salzburg from May 22 to May 24, 2024.
The event focused on the integration of philosophy and practical implementation of dam safety in Austria,
promoting knowledge exchange. The Austrian National Committee for Dams and Reservoirs (ATCOLD) representsthe International Commission on Dams
and Reservoirs (ICOLD) and unites experts and organizations involved in the planning,construction, and operation of dams, including engineering firms,
construction companies, mechanical suppliers, authorities,
and academic institutions.
