History

The company was founded by Mr. Harald Schlosser in early 1986. Thanks to the trust placed in the company by public and private clients, BauCon has been able to expand its base of operations constantly up to the present day.

At the beginning of 1989, Hans-Georg Leitner joined the company management as a partner to Mr. Schlosser. He launched and integrated the CAD software for civil engineers, developed by him on the basis of AutoCAD. With this complete switchover to CAD, the leap into the CAD age took place earlier than it did at other consulting engineers offices. Since then, BauCon has been among the leading consulting engineers offices in this area.

The most recent expansion of the company management took place on 1st January 1993 with the arrival of Gerald Haussteiner as a third partner.

To promote organizational transparency, AIS Bau- und Projekmanagement GesmbH was founded on 1st January 1993. As a result, we can offer you support and consultancy in all matters relating to tenders, construction management and project management through a team of commercially and organizationally independent professionals. The civil engineering services company has been active in Berlin as "BauCon-Beratende Ingenieure GBR" since mid-1993, and all three partners are members of the Baukammer Berlin.

Another phase of our office expansion and market adjustment was concluded with the opening of a further office in Kitzbühel, Tyrol, in July 1996. Concurrent with the opening of this location, we implemented something we had planned for a long time, namely to create a uniform appearance for all our branches in the form of our shared company name BauCon. In this way, our corporate design once again formally underscores that our complete know-how and the overall capacity of our firm is at your service at each of our branches.

BauCon has been ISO-9001 certified for project planning, structural and constructional planning, local site supervision and project management since December 1997. A recertification of our QA system in accordance with the revised ISO-9001:2000 standard took place in March 2001.

The latest stages in the development of our branch network include the opening of an office location in Bolzano, South Tyrol, in 2001 as well as the opening of a branch in Vienna in 2005.
